About The Book:

In Romans 1:16, Paul writes, “[The gospel] is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” If this is true (and it is), then it is imperative that we get this powerful message correct. The concept of “close enough” does not work with the gospel! It must be accurate, and it must be clear because it is God’s only solution for the salvation of sinful men, women, and children.

Often, clarity is achieved when a person communicates what something is and what something is not. This is extremely helpful in the area of gospel clarity, for we know that we have an enemy who is trying to confuse this exact topic (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Additionally, we see Biblical authors taking the time to do this very thing. In Ephesians 2:8-9, Paul says:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith (how someone is saved) and that not of yourselves; (how someone is not saved) it is the gift of God (how someone is saved); not of works, lest anyone should boast (how someone is not saved).”

The goal of this study book is to assist the reader in keeping the gospel and its response clear and consistent with the Biblical teaching on the subject, so that the finished work of Jesus Christ receives all the credit and value it deserves.
