There are potential hazards around every corner in life, even in activities you would not expect. Thus, even if a person is WISE, their WISDOM cannot insulate them from these potential hazards. Solomon gives four everyday examples of this to his listeners. Additionally, from this section we see that proper “life-giving” communication not only needs to be truthful, but also timely in order to be effective.
